“They care about each other, their workers, and the community where the coffee is grown.”
I was looking for a way to roast my own coffee and make a connection with a source that I trusted in how it was produced. I was also looking to establish a relationship with someone that I could partner with to help bring coffee into local churches as a form of missions work. I was frustrated with mediocre cups of coffee in the morning, and with not knowing who or what my money was supporting when I was purchasing other coffee.
What’s different about Siempre Verde Farm is that they are a family. They care about each other, their workers, and the community where the coffee is grown. They want to see outreach done through their coffee—and the coffee tastes incredible!
The first time I ever talked with Martín, he told me about his family and their farm in Ecuador. He told stories of how long the farm had belonged to his family (multiple generations) and what all they grew. He also told of the others that worked on their farm and how they, too, were like family. Then there was that moment when the first bag of coffee arrived in the mail. I smelled it and saw the picture of his mom and dad...and then brewed the first cup...
Now, life is rich with delicious coffee. Also, bringing friends along for the roasting process has been exciting as well to see their eyes open to the intricacies of the process. Then when they taste that first cup and you see the smiles...it makes it worth it.

“We absolutely love the quality of the coffee, the customer service, and the ethics and sustainability of the business.”
Our family has been Siempre Verde Farm coffee customers for several years and we absolutely love the quality of the coffee, the customer service, and the ethics and sustainability of the business. In a world where bad/burnt/stale coffee is cheap and readily available, we love knowing that our morning cup(s) are going to be magnificent and that no slave labor was used to produce it. This is our favorite coffee to buy and we’ve started gifting it to friends with newborn babies as well!

“Now I have an enjoyable cup of coffee and no upset stomach after.”
After trying so many different coffees, from organic to every run-of-the-mill coffee, I was ready to give up on my morning cup of coffee. Then I sat with Martín and he explained all that went into the making of a good cup of coffee—from the growing of the bean to the time of harvest to the roasting of the bean. I never knew all the things that can make or break a coffee bean. Now I have an enjoyable cup of coffee and no upset stomach after.
